Student-Centered, and Student-led Customized Curriculums for ages 2 - 90+. I bring energy, creativity, and a student-first mindset to my teaching, designing lessons that align with each learner’s goals and interests; from simple, joyful play to RCM level preparedness.
High retention: fostering trusted relationships with each student enables individualized instruction, student engagement, and sustained student commitment
Quality instruction: With over nine years of international and Canadian teaching experience, I support students in developing confident, lasting mastery of their chosen instrument(s)
Nurturing creativity and original composition:
Encouraging students to create their own music builds confidence, deepens understanding, and helps cultivate original voices in a world that needs more authentic artistic expression
I offer flexible weekly lessons in person or online. If a student is unable to attend in person due to illness or transportation challenges, lessons can seamlessly continue online, ensuring consistent progress without interruption.
Twice a year, students have the opportunity to participate in in-person recitals, allowing family and friends to celebrate their musical achievements.
Students who are eligible can prepare for and complete Royal Conservatory Examinations in either piano or voice, providing structured milestones for their musical development.
I offer daytime lesson slots for homeschool students and adult learners, providing flexible scheduling to accommodate different lifestyles.
As a dedicated and energetic music educator, I prioritize making the learning process enjoyable. Lessons are always tailored to the goals and interests of each student, helping them develop technical skills, build confidence, and explore their own musical creativity. I particularly focus on nurturing original composition, encouraging students to express themselves through creating and performing their own music.
